I know that before this life we all lived with God, and now we don't live with Him, and basically that isn't super fun. Being on earth away from our Father, we are all experiencing some level of separation anxiety, but this life is a crucial step because on earth we can learn to live by faith not sight. Because He is our loving Father in heaven, He reaches out to us in sometimes very small ways to let us know that we aren't alone. Through prophets, He has revealed His gospel which is how we can follow our Savior Jesus Christ and overcome challenges and weaknesses through His grace. Knowing these things make me feel nearer to Him. As a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I'm here to help others feel close to Him as well. And it really is the best thing ever.
